GRANTS
Two kids reading recropped and recropped againAll school district staff are eligible to apply for Mini-Grants for innovative educational projects. Mini-Grants are funded in part by the United Way of Franklin County. Guidelines will soon be published for our new Impact Grants, for creative projects costing $500 or more. Learn more about our grants here.

STUDENT ASSISTANCE
Any child in need residing in the school district is eligible for financial assistance for basic necessities such as eyeglasses, food, prescriptions or clothing from our Harper Gerry Student Assistance Fund, funded in part by the United Way of Franklin County. In addition, the Guardian Angel Fund was recently launched to provide support for children and their families who find themselves in difficult circumstances. SCHOLARSHIPS
The Mary Lyon Foundation stewards various scholarship funds and works closely with district leaders to distribute funds each year to hard working and dedicated students.

OTHER PROGRAMS

GERTRUDE STREETER FUND
Established in honor of a beloved Colrain teacher, this fund supports the acquisition of middle school library books.

COLRAIN VISION OF EXCELLENCE
This program provides an enrichment component to augment the Colrain Central School curriculum.

AGRICULTURE PROJECT
This Mohawk Trail Regional School program provides support for a community garden and greenhouse and is funded in part by a proactive grant from the Greenfield Cooperative Bank.

GIVING TREE
This new iteration of the Gift Catalog is an opportunity for community members to give educators the gift of an item or two from their wish list during the holiday giving season. Special thanks to staff at the Shelburne Falls branch of the Greenfield Savings Bank for their generous assistance with this program.
